1. Permitted Use

GetVideo provides a universal technological tool designed exclusively for downloading and converting publicly accessible media content. You agree to use this service only for content that you own, create, or have explicit permission and legal rights to download.

2. Prohibition of Private & Protected Content

You agree NOT to use GetVideo to attempt downloading password-protected, login-gated, subscriber-only, paid, or DRM-encrypted materials (including Netflix, Disney+, Spotify Premium, paid course platforms). GetVideo strictly refuses to accept user credentials, authentication cookies, or bypass DRM encryption.

3. Ephemeral Retention & No Long-Term Storage

GetVideo operates as a transient caching conduit. Downloaded temporary media files are permanently deleted within 15 minutes of extraction. GetVideo does not host or maintain long-term media archives.

4. Takedowns & Blocking

We maintain an active takedown blocklist. Content owners can submit a takedown request via our DMCA page, after which access to their specified URLs, channels, or domains is immediately blocked across our API.

5. Disclaimer & Liability

GetVideo is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. The user bears full legal responsibility for any content downloaded through this service and for compliance with copyright laws in their respective jurisdiction.
